I.S.T. Liner – Liner and Resins

I.S.T. GmbH manufactures a wide variety of felt liners. Drawing upon several years experience in felt liner production with the know-how of I.S.T. GmbH became one of the most successful German felt liner suppliers in just its first year.

More than 200 kilometres (125 miles) of our product was delivered in the following year. We produce three varieties of liner: exceptionally-soft PVC coated, highly-resistant polyurethane (PU) coated and polyethylene (PE) coated for steam curing and high resistance to chemicals. In addition, we offer an extremely flexible liner (ThermoLiner ^plus) which cures around 90° bends with little to no wrinkling.

In addition, I.S.T. GmbH offers six varieties of epoxy resins (the most popular being curable by steam within thirty minutes) and one silicate resin.

Last, but not least, we offer our own assortment of calibration tubes. The purple “Mediumtube” is one of the most popular in the world. It is so successful, in fact, that our nearest competitors sell it as well.

Since June 2007, the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) process "I.S.T. Liner" by I.S.T. GmbH, 44795 Bochum (Germany) now possesses the general building authority approval by the German Institute of Building Technology (DIBt) for the rehabilitation of directly buried drains and sewers in the nominal size range of 100 to 300 mm. The approval number is Z-42.3-414.
