# The secure path to sustainable rehabilitated buildings. The climate in wastewater systems isextremely aggressive, which has led to accelerated aging of many facilities. Especially the pollution of biogenic sulphuric acid, which attacks the shaft walls and causes extreme corrosion damages, is often not taken seriously enough. With our new sanitation procedures even severely damaged buildings can now be saved and protected on a long-term basis. Complex building measures are no longer necessary. The main component of the procedure is the new coating material Poly22MH®, containing all characteristics of a sustainable sanitation success. The most important facts:

This motion is impelled via different water vapour concentrations in adjacent areas. Only when both levels are equalised the diffusion stops. The movement direction is always from a high to a low concentration. A material is even more diffusible, the less resistance it opposes to water vapour. Within buildings the water vapour concentration can be less than in the surrounding environment, which leads to a pressure equalisation of moistness towards the building. Once the water vapour molecules meet non vapour diffusible coatings in this environment, they begin to pile up. In this process water vapour partial pressures evolve up to 20 bar. In critical areas the impact pressure can lead to damages of the coating and to delamination from buildings. |
