Alongside the use of traditional marketing instruments, the reliance on customer recommendations and lively word-of-mouth advertising are evidence of convincing achievements and a successful business model. RohrStar AG uses this strategy of attracting new clients with great success.
RohrStar AG and its growing number of franchisees have dedicated themselves to fast and effective pipe cleaning around the clock. The success of the franchise concept behind RohrStar is based on fair prices, transparent calculation, quick response to customer requests, professional, environmentally friendly, clean and speedy execution of works, transport free of charge for the client, and client consultation which gets to the bottom of the matter. RohrStar AG’s franchise partners not only offer pipe cleaning around the clock, seven days a week, but also colour camera analysis, run pipe location, high pressure flushing, leak testing, pipe rehabilitation, the elimination of water damage, and service and maintenance contracts. “RohrStar is the only company to offer these services nationwide under a single uniform brand”, said Andrew Six, chief executive of RohrStar AG. “The opportunities for our franchise partners can be evaluated as absolutely positive. Pipes will always clog. Added to this, the leak test is set to become mandatory throughout the EU.”
The success story of RohrStar began in the year 2005/2006, when the pilot plant in Neumünster started cleaning clogged pipes. At the same time as the foundation of RohrStar AG, in April 2007 the second pilot plant was then launched in Vienna. It soon became apparent that the RohrStar concept was a hit. At the beginning of 2010, four regional service centres were already supporting the growing number of franchisees.
“We currently serve over forty partner companies, some of which cover two areas. Three franchises have set up in Austria. We are currently looking for partners specifically for Bavaria, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hessen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Thuringia. “Our medium-term target is to have a hundred partners in Germany alone” says Andreas Six, setting his sights. “In addition, the opening of the Belgian and Dutch market is soon to get underway”.
The pilot plants in Vienna and Neumünster have now invested extensively in technology for trenchless rehabilitation.
With the company I.S.T., a partner has been found which, in the long term, is also to supply all the other partners in the system with the corresponding technology and materials.
