The system
The sophisticated system, made up of the ElastoTec machine technology and the PU-based 2-component reaction plastic ElastoFlake, is perfectly coordinated.
This reliable and economical pipe rehabilitation system is particularly used for in-house applications, in confined conditions, with small and difficult to access nominal widths in the range from DN 32 to DN 200, but also, for example, for down pipes.
This CE-certified system is suitable for virtually all common pipe materials, such as the common plastics utilized in the sanitary sector (PVC, PE, PP, GFK), but also concrete, fiber cement, stoneware as well as metals such as copper, stainless steel and cast iron.
The sealing or coating of the damaged pipes is performed with the solvent-free 2-component PU material ElastoFlake, which is specially formulated for such requirements and has a very fast reaction time. ElastoFlake hardens so quickly that it cannot run off during application and ultimately has a uniform material thickness of 2-4 mm. This is done in several layers or work steps.
In the hardened state, the coating is resistant to common pressures, domestic sewage, grease and temperature fluctuations; the very smooth surface protects against mechanical wear and improves the flow rate.
The DIBt approval of the German Institute for Construction Technology with the number: Z-42.3-565 has been in place since August 13, 2018.
The ElastoTec M spray machine offers a very compact design with all the advantages of the large ElastoTec L system, but is even more mobile and lighter – even in inaccessible locations.
